Silence of the Yams

Feel like being part of something big?  Well, it might be big.  Do you reckon you’ve got a gift for writing comic strips that would suit these guys?  Or are you a Flash genius who could make these into a Flash cartoon?  Or both? 

I’d love to take these guys to the next level but I can’t do it on my own so if you think you’ve got what I need then get in touch!

I can’t offer any payment yet but if any money is made as a result of the collaboration then of course something would be worked out - some sort of agreement would be entered prior to commencement but enough legal mumbo jumbo, that will be sorted in due course.  In a nutshell it would be volunteer work to start (just like I do!) with the promise* of cash to roll in if the magic happens.

So yes, drop me a line if you think you have what I need and we’ll talk!

Holy cow, I did it!  I actually pulled my finger out and got back into the swing of things! It’s been a long time coming I know.

Now, for those of you that don’t know, the ‘Caber Toss’ is a Scottish event whereby competitors literally hurl a caber which is a huge log basically (think telegraph pole or big tree) as far as they can. Why? Probably because they can and if someone is strong enough to throw an entire tree around for fun then I’m not about to question their choice of recreational activities now am I?

Anyway, this idea was given to me by my dad and since this is the first strip I’ve published since his passing, this one is dedicated to you dad!

I decided to do a redesign as managing the existing site was getting all too hard so I’ve switched to a new system.  The site will evolve over time and I will get all the content transferred over, it just takes time!

You can now leave comments via the ‘Weaverzoo Wall’ to your right, much easier than the old site so feel free!

Make sure you bookmark this page and tell all your friends (especially if your friends happen to be big shots at cartoon companies who are looking for new stuff!).

All the bits seem to be in place (although there are a couple of things to work out but no biggies).
